Miss Tay is a patient, helpful, understandable and friendly teacher whom i know. With her guidance, i managed to pass my both Grade 8 Practical and theory. I really enjoy during the lesson. Thank you so much for your great help.
We are very glad that we found Ms Tay to teach and guide our daughter, Yixuan for her Grade 5 Music Theory Exam. Even though we had only 11 weeks to the exam, her systematic approach has made it easy for an 11 years old child to understand and score really well (89 marks) for the exam. We appreciate her patience and dedication. Thank you, Ms Tay!

Share the Love of Music...
The Purpose of Teaching Music goes beyond the pay-check. The Joy of Teaching is about Passing it along, to Share the Love of Music so that others can be just as Passionate about Music as I am.
Music is a Universal Language and the beauty of Teaching Music is that you are Teaching to to Students who will be able to use this no matter where they are for the Rest of Their Lives.
The Most Important Purpose in Teaching Music is to first Inspire the students to Love Music, to Awaken within them a Desire to Rise above themselves, to Motivate and Encourage the Students to be More than what they can be.
The Objective of Educating Students is to develop Knowledge and Resources in the students that will contribute to their Well-Being towards their Life Pursuits. To Teach the students how to Love Music, to Train them to Think, to Inspire them to Love what they do and then Teach them how to Find it.
My Purpose in Teaching is to help the students to Master the Instrument well, through working Persistently at difficult passages and Never Giving Up. If the students can Succeed at Practicing a Passage and getting it Right, this will provide them with a Sense of Pride and Purpose. I Teach them to Appreciate the Beauty of Music through Understanding the piece and the Satisfaction in developing Self-Mastery of the Musical Instrument.
Connects the students...
Music is All Around Us and it Connects the students to the Past, Present and Future. I hope at the end of it all, through Teaching Piano, I can teach my students to develop some of these Character Traits and Mold them to be Well-Rounded Individuals who are Sensitive, Kind and Resilient people who can Lead a Happy and Satisfied Life. By Sharing My Knowledge and Passion for Music, I Look Forward to see the Many Lives I will Touch Along My Journey.
